Job Title:  Sr. HR Specialist

Job duties:

Coordinate new hire on-boarding & post-boarding processes for employees of company’s food distribution service business which includes new hire orientation, I-9 verification, equity, probation, job duty & policy updates, on-boarding binder, creation/maintenance of files, etc.
tracking of exempt and non-exempt requisitions
Ensure the HR policies, guidelines and practices comply state and federal law, including compliance with posting requirements.  
Oversee recruitment process for assigned areas, which includes sourcing, interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, preparing correspondence, developing and maintaining relationships with employment agencies, universities, and other recruitment sources.
Provide information and support the gathering of data for third party unemployment claim management.
Execute weekly payroll related record-keeping and making time sheet adjustments, troubleshooting payroll issues, processing annual W-2s, etc. by using Automatic Data Processing (ADP).
make employees’ schedule weekly and manage their overtime effectively. 
Coordinate the execution of all benefit related processes for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K and COBRA.
Provide services to employees regarding benefit issues or inquiries.
resolve employee concerns and grievances, work with management to resolve employee relations issues.
Manage and monitor OHSA compliance, including of office supply and warehouse equipment.
Manage workers comp policy, report claims in a timely manner and coordinate with claim processor.
Provide advice/guidance to management and Executive team regarding the appropriate application of performance management processes, recruitment, placement, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Human Resource Development or Human Resource
6 months experience in food distribution service business, using Automatic Data Processing (ADP).
